Eco yoga weekend
A weekend of relaxation and rejuvenation in the West Country
Set amid beautiful countryside on the Somerset and Dorset border, this two-night retreat is all about creating space for yourself to re-energise and relax.
The weekend is based at the Magdalen Project, a visionary eco centre based on an organic farm. All vegetarian meals and snacks will be provided and prepared, where possible, using food grown organically on the farm. Any dietary needs can be catered for if arranged in advance.
The accommodation is based in converted timber and local stone buildings. It is simple but newly furnished and spotlessly clean. There is the option to share with friends or to have your own room (dependent on numbers).
Over the course of the yoga weekend we have full use of the centre’s wonderful facilities, which include a straw bale meditation room, two tipees and plenty of resident animals to admire (including very friendly pigs!). The surrounding countryside is stunning.
Di will be teaching a well-rounded yoga programme incorporating the many aspects of yoga – asana, pranayama, mudras, bhandas, meditation, chanting and relaxation.
